I completed the Land's End to John O' Groats (LEJOG) cycle ride in 2007 and the Sea to Sea (C2C) ride from the Irish Sea at Whitehaven to the North Sea at Sunderland in 2008. This site has written and photographic logs of both trips.

I am also a keen angler and I maintain a blog of some of my angling experiences and thoughts through the year. I have also produced a fishing calculator in the form of an Excel spreadsheet which uses data provided by the Angling Times to give you information about best tactics, best bait, best method and best location, based on the water temperature, species and whether it is river, commercial or still water fishing. I enjoy photography and video and have a FLIKR page for those interested and also a YouTube channel with some interesting Special Effect shorts.
